11th Business Development Mission to Australia in May 2017

The Country branding and business promotion program of the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) intends to promote international exposure for the domestic ICT Industry in designated countries. It focuses on attracting ICT investments to the country and exploring overseas business promotion opportunities for local companies. Sri Lankan IT/BPM companies have been continuously engaging with the Australian market since 2011 which has been led and facilitated by ICTA.

Business Mission to Australia in May 2017

The Business Development Mission will take place from 23rd – 25th May 2017, with the facilitation of a Sri Lankan Country Pavilion at the CeBIT EXPO, Sydney, APAC’s largest & longest running B2B technology exhibition & conference attracting 15,000 technology professionals from enterprise, government, SME & start-up. Attendees will learn new insights from 200+ industry luminaries across the 8 CeBIT conferences, international keynotes, 6 Strategic Panels and 3 Showfloor Theatres. The delegation consists of the C-level representatives of 08 IT/BPM Sri Lankan companies and the ICTA representative.

ICTA will also conduct a session on the Digital Transformation; how Australian SME’s can benefit by sourcing IT and business process management services from more agile, cost effective destinations like Sri Lanka to accelerate their transition to digital. By taking advantage of technology advances in the areas of mobility, IoT, robotics, cloud, data analytics etc. Sri Lanka will also showcase a number of Australian organisations that are embracing this digital transformation enabling the Australian firms to accelerate their overall productivity, quality by way of cost-effective solutions, supporting the company’s international growth.

The Sri Lankan delegation is patronized by 08 companies and the delegation consists of Software solution providers from a services delivery platform from disrupting the services taxonomy through a one-stop-app for all service needs, custom based products for Banking, Finance and telecommunication domains, workflow, online sales and operations management platform for Travel sector, document management & digitalization systems, E-Commerce to Digital Marketing solution providers. Companies providing IT infrastructure services and dedicated offshore delivery teams for software, web and mobile apps development will also be exhibiting their unique products and services.
